WEST CAMPING – GENERAL RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Each customer acknowledges having read these General Terms and Conditions prior to making any booking, for themselves and for all persons participating in the stay.

Booking Conditions

West Camping offers stays intended for families in the traditional sense. The accommodations are specifically designed for this purpose. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any booking that is contrary to this principle or that attempts to circumvent it.

Bookings for pitches or rental accommodations are made on a personal basis. Under no circumstances may the booking be sublet or transferred without the prior consent of the campsite.

Minors must be accompanied by their parents, legal guardians, or responsible supervising adults.

Groups are not accepted during High Season and are accepted during Low Season only under specific conditions (please contact us by phone or email).

Deposit

A booking becomes final and will be confirmed only after payment of a deposit equal to 30% of the total stay amount.

Booking Fees

West Camping charges €22 in processing and booking fees for rentals and pitches during High Season. These fees are waived during Low Season.

Payment Conditions

Accepted payment methods:
Credit card, bank cheque, holiday vouchers (chèques vacances), bank transfer, cash.
Monthly instalment payments are not accepted.

Holiday vouchers must be sent by tracked or registered mail before arrival.

Balance Payment

• Pitches: payable on the day of arrival

  
  

• Rental accommodations: the full balance must be paid 30 days before the first day of the stay

Online Booking and Payment

Our website www.westcamping.com is secure for credit card payments. Customers may book online and pay by bank transfer or cheque.

For last-minute bookings, only immediate credit card payments are accepted due to the proximity of the arrival date.

Cancellation and Modification

Cancellation by the Customer

All cancellations must be made in writing (registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by email).

Cancellation fees depend on the date of cancellation:

• More than 30 days before the start of the stay:
  Refund of amounts paid, minus booking fees, cancellation insurance, and a €20 cancellation fee.

  
  

• Less than 30 days before the start of the stay:
  The deposit is non-refundable. The balance will only be refunded if the campsite succeeds in re-letting the accommodation.

  
  

We strongly recommend taking out cancellation insurance (see below).

 

If cancellation is initiated by the campsite, except in cases of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded. No compensation or damages may be claimed.

Force Majeure Cases

In such cases, a credit voucher valid for 18 months will be issued. If the customer refuses the voucher, a refund will be issued upon request, minus the cost of cancellation insurance if subscribed.

Cancellation Insurance

Optional but strongly recommended, cancellation insurance costs 4% of the total stay amount per pitch or accommodation. It allows reimbursement of amounts paid in the event of cancellation or early departure under certain conditions (illness, accident, Covid-19, etc.).

Insurance

Campers are responsible for their own insurance. The campsite declines all responsibility in case of theft, fire, bad weather, or incidents falling under the camper’s civil liability.

Civil liability insurance for holiday accommodation is mandatory. During their stay, guests benefit from the campsite operator’s civil liability insurance for bodily injury or material damage for which the campsite is legally responsible.

Arrival and Departure – Pitches

The basic package includes:

• A pitch for a tent, caravan, or motorhome

  
  

• One vehicle

  
  

• 1 or 2 persons

  
  

• Electricity (6 amps – 1320 watts)

  
  

• Access to sanitary facilities (token showers included, limited to 2 per person per day)

  
  

• Access to campsite facilities

  
  

Maximum capacity per pitch: 6 persons (large families must contact us).

Motorhomes with trailers must be declared at booking (additional charge applies).

Reception Hours

• July/August: 2:30 pm – 7:30 pm

  
  

• Low Season: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

  
  

Pitches must be vacated by 12:00 noon.

Arrival and Departure – Rental Accommodations

During High Season, bookings are weekly, with arrivals on Saturdays or Sundays.

Rental accommodations are equipped with crockery, kitchen utensils, microwave, electric coffee maker, duvets, pillows, and television (for the stated capacity).
Some mobile homes include a dishwasher (EVO29 / EVO33).

Bed linen and towels are not provided (disposable sheet kits available as an option).

Accommodation capacity ranges from 1 to 6 persons, depending on the unit. No additional persons beyond the stated capacity are allowed.

Accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 am, cleaned thoroughly. No cleaning service is offered.

A €300 security deposit will be required at arrival. An additional cleaning deposit may apply if leaving outside reception hours.

Visitors

Visitors may be admitted with prior authorization from management, under the responsibility of the hosting camper (maximum 4 visitors).

Visitors must pay the applicable fee.
Vehicles are not allowed inside the campsite.
Visitors do not have access to the swimming pool.

Swimming Pool

Open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, May to September (extended in good weather).

Pool access is prohibited to:

• Animals

  
  

• Non-residents (including visitors)

  
  

• Persons with contagious diseases

  
  

• Children under 12 not accompanied by a responsible adult

  
  

Smoking, eating, drinking, shoes, swim shorts, bermudas, and t-shirts are prohibited in the pool area.

Games and Activities

Violent or disruptive games are prohibited near facilities.
Children must always be supervised by their parents.

Traffic and Parking

Maximum speed inside the campsite: 10 km/h
Vehicle circulation permitted between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Only vehicles belonging to campers are allowed inside. Parking must not obstruct traffic or new arrivals.

Pets

Category 1 and 2 dogs are strictly prohibited.

• 1 pet allowed in mobile homes

  
  

• 2 pets allowed on pitches

  
  

Vaccination records must be up to date.

Pets must be kept on a leash, waste must be collected, and access to prohibited areas is forbidden.

Dogs are prohibited on the beaches of Perros-Guirec and Ploumanac’h.

Noise

Silence must be respected between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am.

Sound devices must be adjusted accordingly. Any disruptive behavior may result in contract termination.

Safety

Ground fires are strictly prohibited. Charcoal barbecues on legs are permitted.
Fire extinguishers and a first-aid kit are available.

In case of fire, notify management immediately.

Cleanliness and Facilities

Wastewater disposal, waste sorting, respect for vegetation, and cleanliness of facilities are mandatory.
Any damage caused will be charged to the responsible party.

Management and Staff

Management ensures order, cleanliness, and safety. Staff inspections are routine. Reception is available during opening hours for any assistance.

Disputes

Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts where the campsite is located.

Internal Rules

All guests must comply with campsite rules. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination of the stay and, if necessary, involvement of law enforcement.

Special Conditions

The campsite cannot accommodate double-axle caravans or motorhomes.
Motorhomes must be equipped with leveling blocks. Some pitches are sloped.
